Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup
- 4 cups Black Beans
- 1 can (4 Oz. Size) Diced Green Chilis
- 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Southwestern Style Diced Tomatoes
- 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Chicken Broth
- 6 cups Water
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced (2 Large, Or 4 Small)
- 1 Onion, Chopped
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 18 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1/4 teaspoons Seasoned Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 Avocado, Peeled, Pitted And Chopped
- Grated Cheese
- Sour Cream
- If you decide to use dry black beans, soak them overnight or for about 5-6 hours before using them.
- Place all of the soup ingredients into a crock pot (set to low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours).
- If most of the water has been reduced by the end of the cook time, you can add another cup or two and simmer for another 30 minutes.
- Serve with garnishes and enjoy!
