Easy in the Microwave Strawberry Sauce

  1. Cut the strawberries into small pieces.
  2. Put the strawberries in a deep bowl and add granulated sugar and lemon juice.
  3. Microwave at 600W for 6 minutes.
  4. Skim off any scum from the surface, then mash with a pestle.
  5. Microwave again at 600W for another 3 minutes, remove the scum, mash again, and let cool.
  6. It goes great on top of yogurt or granola!
  7. Boil a bottle or jar to sterilize, pour the sauce in, and chill in the refrigerator.
  8. Use up within a week.
