Caramel Crunch Ice Cream Sauce Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. minced or possibly sliced Almonds
- 1/3 c. Light Corn Syrup
- 1/3 c. Brown Sugar, firmly packed
- 1 Tbsp. Water
- 1/3 c. Crisp Rice Cereal, coarsely crushed
- Heat the butter in a medium skillet over moderate heat.
- Add in the almonds to the sizzling butter and saute/fry for about 5 min, or possibly till brown.
- Add in the corn syrup, sugar, and water.
- Heat thoroughly, till mix is bubbly and sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in therice cereal and serve immediately over vanilla ice cream.
