Buckshot Beans/Crockpot

  1. Cover beans with water and let soak overnight.
  2. Drain beans, discarding soaking water.
  3. In crockpot, cover beans with fresh water and add remaining ingredients.
  4. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, until beans are tender.
  5. Taste beans, add salt if necessary (don't add salt at the beginning of cooking time - it will make the beans tough!
