Bourbon Shrimp Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 10 lrg fresh shrimp (15 to 21 count), peeled and deveined
- 2 Tbsp. bourbon whiskey, warmed
- 1/2 c. whipping cream, (1/2 to 3/4) Salt and freshly grnd black pepper, to taste Toasted bread, cut into triangles
- In a large saute/fry pan, heat the butter and saute/fry the shrimp on medium-high heat for 2 min, or possibly till the shrimp turn pink.
- Add in the whiskey and flambe.
- Add in the cream and reduce till just slightly thick.
- Add in the salt and black pepper.
- Serve immediately with the toast points.
- YIELD: 4 APPETIZER SERVINGS
