Tomato Bisque Recipe

  1. Stew tomatoes and onion for 15 min.
  2. Meanwhile, heat lowfat milk in a double boiler; into this put butter, corn starch, mixed with a little lowfat milk.
  3. Stir constantly till it thickens.
  4. Rub tomatoes thru a sieve and return to the fire.
  5. Add in sugar, pepper and salt to taste, add in soda, then boiling lowfat milk.
  6. Into this stir in sweet cream and serve at once.
