Mandarin Pork Roast

  1. Trim excess fat from roast.
  2. Sprinkle roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Spread mustard over roast and place in large Dutch oven.
  4. Cover and bake at 325u0b0 until meat thermometer registers 170u0b0.
  5. Drain mandarin oranges, reserving liquid. Combine liquid and next 6 ingredients in saucepan.
  6. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Remove from heat and stir in onion, green pepper and oranges. Spoon sauce over roast.
  7. Bake, uncovered, at 400u0b0 for 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
