Celebration Sandwich Cookies

• 1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
• 3 Tbsp. (about 1/2 of 85-g pkg.) dry Jell-O Orange Jelly Powder
• 2 cups thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping, divided
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup Philadelphia Cream Cheese Product
• 1 Tbsp. sugar

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Stir cake mix, dry jelly powder, 1 cup Cool Whip and egg until blended.
3. (Dough will be stiff.)
4. Shape into balls, using 1 tsp.
5. dough for each.
6. Place, 2 inches apart, on parchment-covered baking sheets.
7. Bake 6 to 7 min.
8. or just until edges of cookies are set.
9. (Do not overbake.)
10. Cool on baking sheet 2 min.
11. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
12. Mix cream cheese product, sugar and remaining Cool Whip until blended.
13. Fill 2 cookies with 1 tsp.
14. cream cheese mixture to make sandwich.
15. Repeat with remaining cookies and cream cheese mixture.
16. Keep refrigerated.
