Easy in a Microwave ! Budget-Friendly Orange Jello
- 100 ml 100% orange juice
- 1 can Canned mandarin oranges
- 2 heaping tablespoons Sugar
- 5 grams Gelatin
- Dissolve the gelatin in 2 tablespoons of water.
- Separate the mandarin oranges from the syrup.
- Add the syrup to the orange juice to get a total of 300ml.
- Add sugar to the liquid mixture, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 2 minutes at 500W.
- Stir in the mandarin oranges and place the bowl in ice water to cool.
- Once the mixture thickens, the mandarin oranges will float to the top and set.
- Pour into individual serving cups and chill.
- In the top photo, I placed a straw next to the "juice" just for fun.
