Round Steak Piquant Recipe

  1. Combine flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cut steak into 6 serving pcs; dredge in flour.
  3. Put in oven-proof skillet with lid.
  4. Heat oil to medium-warm, slowly brown meat on both sides.
  5. Drain fat.
  6. Combine rest of ingredients, except onion slices, and pour over steak.
  7. Simmer, uncovered, about 5 min.
  8. Top with onion slices.
  9. Cover.
  10. Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees till fork tender, 1 or possibly 1 1/2 hrs.
