Crabmeat In Toast Cups
- 2 loaves thin sliced bread
- 1 (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) crabmeat
- 1 tsp. green onion, minced
- 2 tsp. parsley, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Cut crust from bread.
- Cut into rounds with 2 1/2 inch cutter. Brush both sides with melted butter.
- Press into tiny muffin tins.
- Bake cups in 450u0b0 oven for 5 minutes or until brown.
- Melt the 3 tablespoons of margarine in a medium saucepan.
- Stir in flour and cook until bubbly (about 1 minute).
- Add cheese and stir until melted.
- Add milk and crabmeat.
- Fill each toast cup with mixture and bake in 400u0b0 oven for 15 minutes.
- Yields about 100 cups.
