Asian Pear Salad Recipe

  1. ASIAN PEAR SALAD W/TAMARI PECANS & MAYTAG BLUE CHEESE
  2. Place the pear vinegar and pear syrup in a small mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk in the lemon-o and set aside.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the greens, tamari pecans, and currants.
  5. Sprinkle over with the blue cheese, then drizzle over with the dressing.
  6. Toss the salad gently and briefly, as you don't want the cheese crumbles to begin sticking together.
  7. Divide the salad onto the center of 2 chilled salad plates and garnish by fanning the pear slices around each salad.
  8. Yield: 4 servings
