Brussels Sprouts with Maple and Walnut Vinaigrette

  1. Cut an X in the bottom of each Brussels sprout.
  2. Steam until tender but still firm.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk the vinegar, maple syrup, and mustard together.
  4. Gradually whisk in the oil.
  5. Season with the nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Toss the hot Brussels sprouts with the walnuts and vinaigrette.
  7. Serve immediately.
