Chocolate Mint Dessert Recipe
- 10 ounce. Oreo cookies, crushed (use whole cookie)
- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 4 ounce. German Sweet Chocolate
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk (small can)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 gallon chocolate chip mint ice cream (softened)
- Reserve 2/3 c. crushed Oreo.
- Mix remaining Oreos with 1/4 c. melted butter.
- Press in 9 x 13 pan.
- Chill.
- Heat chocolate, add in 1/2 c. butter, sugar and evaporated lowfat milk.
- Boil over medium heat for 4 min, stirring constantly.
- Add in vanilla, cold.
- Spread over crust.
- Refrigeratein freezer till set.
- Spread ice cream over chocolate layer.
- Sprinkle reserved Oreos over top.
- Freeze.
