Leek and Shallot Rice

  1. Bring water, oil, and rice to a boil and then reduce to simmer.
  2. Simmer for 40 minutes or until done.
  3. After rice is cooked melt butter in a skillet and saute leek, shallot, and garlic for about 5 minutes or until tender.
  4. Add rice and seasoning to butter and saute for 4-5 minutes stirring to prevent rice from burning.
