Starbucks birthday cake pop

  1. Prepare and bake the cake as usual.
  2. Then let cool completely.
  3. Crumble the cake and mix in the frosting.
  4. Start with about half of the container and go from there until the mixture sticks enough to roll into balls, but not so gooey it won't hold it's shape.
  5. Roll the cake mix into balls about the size of gum balls.
  6. Place on a lined cookie sheet.
  7. Prepare the candy melts as directed.
  8. Dip one side of the lollipop sticks into the melted candies then insert the same end into the cake balls.
  9. Place in fridge or freezer to set.
  10. You my need to reheat the candies.
  11. Dip the cake balls into the melted candies until fully covered.
  12. Let the excess chocolate drop off.
  13. Stick the pops into the foam ring and decorate with sprinkles.
  14. Then place in the fridge.
  15. When chocolate is hardened take out and enjoy :)
