Mixed Grain Cereal With Apricots and Almonds

  1. Combine orange juice, water, cinnamon, and salt in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high hear; stir in apricots (or figs) and oats.
  3. Gradually add cornmeal, whisking constantly.
  4. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring, until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Divide the porridge among 6 bowls.
  6. Top with yogurt, maple syrup, and almonds.
  7. Serve immediately.
