Hearty Heart Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

• 3/4 c. butter
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 2 egg whites
• 1/4 c. water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
• 1/2 c. all purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 c. raisins
• 3 c. rolled oats

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add in egg whites, water and vanilla, and beat mix till creamy.
3. Mix flours and baking soda together and beat into liquid mix.
4. Stir in raisins and rolled oats.
5. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
6. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 to 15 min.
7. Yield: 4 dozen cookies.
8. Calories: 76, 3.2 grams fat, 40 milligrams sodium and 0 milligrams cholesterol per cookie.
