Mediterranean Fish Steaks

  1. Heat the oil and fry the onions and garlic until soft.
  2. Add the green pepper rings and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and place half in a casserole dish.
  4. Arrange half of the basil and salt and pepper.
  5. Place fish steaks on top, sprinkle with lemon juice.
  6. Add rest of the tomato slices, basil and onion and pepper mixture.
  7. Pour in the wine.
  8. Cover and cook for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees C.
