Johnnie's Sauerkraut
- 1 (27 ounce) can sauerkraut, do not drain
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup oil or 12 cup butter
- 1 12 teaspoons caraway seeds
- Cook sauerkraut, brown sugar, oil and caraway seed until it comes to a boil.
- Remove from heat
- Drain.
- Cool to room temperature for several hours.
- Refrigerate.
- Serve warm or cold.
