Chilies Rellenos Egg Rolls Recipe
- 1 can minced green chilies or possibly minced green pepper
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 c. shredded cheddar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Brown beef, onion, garlic, and green peppers if substituted for chilies in pan and drain.
- Add in cheese, seasoning and chilies.
- Stir.
- Place 1/4 to 1/3 mix on egg roll wrapper and wrap as you would an egg roll.
- Seal edges with water by brushing water on edge.
- Fry in warm vegetable oil till golden brown.
- Serve with a dollop of lowfat sour cream and picante sauce.
