Texas Pepper Steak Recipe
- 1 pound flank steak
- 2 teaspoon corn starch
- 1 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sherry
- 1/4 c. sunflower oil
- 4 lg. green peppers cut in strips
- Warm cooked rice
- Place steak in freezer till partially frzn so it will slice easily into strips.
- In dish, mix cornstarch, ginger, sugar, soy sauce and sherry.
- Marinate the meat in this mix for 30 min.
- Heat oil in large pan or possibly wok; add in peppers and stir fry.
- Add in meat and cook till meat loses its color.
- Serve over rice.
