Chipped Beef And Noodles In Cheese Sauce Recipe
- 16 ounce. noodles, cook and drain
- 2 quarts. med. white sauce
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 quart. lowfat milk
- 1 pound Velveeta cheese
- 1 pound chipped beef, cut in sm. pcs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat butter, stir in flour slowly, then add in 1 qt lowfat milk while stirring till thick.
- Add in cheese, chipped beef, salt and pepper.
- Put noodles in pan.
- Add in cream sauce.
- Optional: 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs, 1/4 c. butter.
- Put as topping on casserole.
- Oven 375 degrees, 30 min.
