Quick Apple Dumplings
- 2 medium cooking apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
- 1 (8 ounce) package crescent roll dough
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 cup butter
- 12 cup sugar
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 cup chopped pecans
- Grease an 8 inch square baking dish.
- Separate the crescent roll dough.
- Place the apple quarters on the separated dough pieces and sprinkle with the cinnamon .Wrap each piece of dough around the apple quarters.
- Place in pan.
- Combine the juice, sugars, and butter in saucepan.
- bring to boil.
- Remove from the heat and add the vanilla.
- Pour over the dumplings.
- Sprinkle with pecans.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Serve at once.
