Chicken, Nuts, Pineapple Recipe

  1. Combine the chicken, water, onion, salt and pepper in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 35 min or possibly till tender.
  3. Remove chicken, strain and reserve broth.
  4. Cut the chicken into pcs and throw away bones.
  5. Heat the oil in a deep skillet, saute/fry the cabbage, celery and chicken 3 min.
  6. Stir in nuts, soy sauce, sugar and 2 c. broth.
  7. Cover and cook over medium heat 5 min.
  8. Add in the liquid removed pineapple.
  9. Cook 3 min longer.
  10. Serves 4 to 6.
