Peanut Butter French Sandwiches Recipe
- 3 Large eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 2 tbsp. honey or possibly syrup
- 8 slices of white bread
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Pancake syrup
- Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk and salt in a medium bowl and set aside.
- Mix peanut butter and honey or possibly syrup spread on 4 slices of bread.
- Top each with second slice to make a sandwich and cut in half.
- Heat butter on griddle over warm fire.
- Dip each sandwich in egg mix and place on griddle or possibly pan.
- Brown on both sides and serve warm with your favorite syrup or possibly sprinkle sandwiches with confectioners' sugar.
- NOTE: This is great for Saturday morning when you've had Friday night company.
