How to Make Shredded White Leek
- 1 Japanese leek (the white part)
- Cut the white part of the Japanese leek into 5 cm long lengths.
- Cut slits into the leeks, then remove the green cores.
- Finely chop the white parts.
- Let rest in cold water for about 10 minutes.
- Drain well in a sieve.
- Done.
- Cut as-is, vertically.
- If you cut it diagonally, they'll become curly.
