Peach and Strawberry French Toast
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 large slices sourdough bread
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 100g PHILADELPHIA Strawberry Light Cream Cheese
- 2 peaches, cut into wedges (or 400g can peach slices, drained)
- sliced strawberries, to serve, optional Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- toasted flaked almonds, to serve
- maple syrup, to serve
- Whisk together the milk, eggs and cinnamon.
- Dip bread slices into mixture then place onto a plate.
- Heat half the butter and oil in a 26cm non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
- Cook 2 slices of bread for 2-3 minutes each side until golden.
- Remove and continue with remaining butter, oil and bread.
- Spread toast with Philly*, top with peaches, strawberries and almonds.
- Drizzle with maple syrup then serve immediately.
