Mexican Tater Tot Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Brown meat and onion over medium heat cook until the meat is browned and the onion is softened; drain grease.
  3. Mix in the sauce, chilies, and garlic powder.
  4. Heat through.
  5. Spread mixture into a 13x9-inch pan.
  6. Cover meat with corn, and cover corn with cheese.
  7. Place tater tots evenly over the casserole until it is completely covered.
  8. Bake 45 minutes or until tater tots are lightly browned and mixture is bubbly.
  9. Serve with sour cream and salsa, if desired.
