Chocolate Streusel Slice
- 125 g butter
- 14 cup sugar
- 1 cup plain flour
- 14 cup self raising flour
- 400 g sweetened condensed milk
- 30 g butter
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup plain flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 13 cup brown sugar
- 125 g butter
- Base:.
- Cream butter and sugar until just combined, stir in sifted flour, mix to a firm dough.
- Press evenly into well greased 30cm x 25cm Swiss roll tin.
- Bake in moderate oven 10 minutes, spread with filling.
- Grate topping evenly over surface, bake in moderate oven further 10 minutes.
- stand 15 minutes before cutting.
- Filling:.
- Combine all filling ingredients in saucepan, stir over medium heat until mixture begins to bubble on base of pan.
- Continue stirring briskly for about 3mins or until mixture is thick.
- Topping:.
- Sift dry ingredients in a large bowl, rub in butter.
- Mix to a firm dough.
