Kielbasa Bavarian Skillet Dinner
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion (or more)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup sauerkraut, rinsed
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon caraway seed
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 18 nutmeg
- Brown kielbasa in large skillet.
- add onion and garlic and saute until limp.
- stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- cover and simmer 30 minutes, stir occasionally.
