EZ Chocolate Delight Souffle
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 18 each egg whites
- 1 qt. PHILADELPHIA DELIGHTS Dark Chocolate
- Coat 24 (4 oz.)
- ramekins (or 12 ramekins for trial recipe) with a thin layer of butter.
- Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Sift powdered sugar and cream of tartar into a bowl; set aside.
- Whip egg whites on medium speed until very frothy.
- Add powdered sugar mixture; whip on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.
- Heat the DELIGHTS in a large bowl in the microwave or over a pot of simmering water, until slightly warm to the touch (about 90 degrees F).
- Remove from heat.
- Fold in the egg white mixture just until incorporated.
- Do not over mix.
- Fill each ramekin with 2.5 oz.
- of batter.
- Smooth tops with an offset spatula.
- Place ramekins into a prepared water bath.
- Bake in a standard oven at 375 degrees F for 30 min., or until the souffles are puffed.
- Serve immediately.
