Toffee Almond Sandies

  1. In mixing bowl cream butter and sugars.
  2. Add oil, eggs and extract.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Combine flours, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt.
  5. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  6. Stir in nuts and toffee bits.
  7. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.
  8. Place on ungreased baking sheet and flatten with fork.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned.
  10. Yields about 12 dozen.
