Fiery Jalapeno Sauce

  1. Heat a cast-iron skillet.
  2. Add the jalapenos and garlic and roast over high heat until lightly charred, about 5 minutes.
  3. Let cool slightly, then peel the jalapenos and discard the stems, cores and seeds.
  4. Peel the garlic.
  5. In a blender, combine the jalapenos, garlic, cilantro, water and lime juice and puree.
  6. Season with salt.
