Meat Pie
- 1 whole Large Potato, Baked, Peeled And Mashed
- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Beef, Turkey Or Pork
- 1 whole Large Onion, Minced
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cloves
- 1 dash All Spice
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 whole 9" Double Crust Deep Dish Pie Crust
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- Place potato, ground meat, onion, spices and 1/2 cup water in a large frying pan.
- Simmer until VERY thick, about one hour.
- Spoon meat filling into the bottom pie crust and cover with the top crust.
- Brush with the beaten egg and cut a steam vent.
- Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Serve warm.
