Spiced Salt

  1. Grind the star anise, cinnamon sticks, peppercorns, cloves and cumin seeds, if using, separately in a spice grinder.
  2. If using celery seed, leave whole.
  3. Combine the spices and salt in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  4. Store in an airtight container.
