Home Style Chicken and Dumplings

  1. In 4 quart crock pot place potatoes and carrots.
  2. In medium bowl, mix broth, flour, salt, marjoram and pepper; pour into cooker.
  3. Add chicken.
  4. Cover; cook on low setting for 6 hours.
  5. Stir in peas.
  6. Increase heat setting to High.
  7. Cover; cook 15 minutes.
  8. In small bowl, stir Bisquick mix and milk until Bisquick mix is moistened.
  9. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto chicken mixture.
  10. Sprinkle with paprika.
  11. Cover; cook on high about 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of dumplings comes out clean.
