Vegetarian Bread Patties

  1. Reduce stock to half its original volume.
  2. Stir egg with pepper and garam marsala.
  3. Crumble in bread.
  4. Mix with reduced stock, cheese, and fired shallots/onions.
  5. Knead into a dough-like consistency.
  6. Form four patties.
  7. Heat butter.
  8. Fry patties in butter at medium heat until golden brown (circa 4 mins to a side).
