Homemade Cloverleaf Honey

  1. use fresh blossoms; remove all green stems.
  2. wash clover and rose petals throughly in cool running water;
  3. drain well.
  4. pat dry.
  5. place in large metal bowl and set aside.
  6. in large heavy saucepan bring sugar, water and alum to a boil; stirring constantly.
  7. boil without stirring until candy thermorther.
  8. reaches 220 degree;.
  9. remove from heat.
  10. pour the above over clover and wild rose petals.
  11. let stand 45 minutes.
  12. pour through double thickness of cheesecloth;.
  13. discard clovers and petals.
  14. pour honey in jars.
  15. store in fridge.
  16. do not use chemically treated plants.
