Game Day Chicken Wings
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 4 pounds Fresh Chicken Wings
- Vegetable Oil, Enough For An Inch Or Two In Your Frying Pot
- 1- 1/2 stick Butter, Melted
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cups Hot Sauce
- 1/4 cups BBQ Sauce, Your Favorite
- 1 teaspoon Chopped Garlic
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Mix together the flour, garlic powder, black pepper and salt in a large bowl.
- Toss wings in flour mixture and shake off excess.
- Arrange wings on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet that youve sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake for 40 minutes and then remove them from the oven and allow to cool.
- Wings can be tossed in sauce now, however frying them will create a much better wing.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot to 375 F. Put wings into the pot in a single layer.
- Fry wings in the hot oil for 12-15 minutes.
- Drain wings and toss in sauce.
- For the wing sauce: In a mixing bowl add melted butter, and combine all remaining ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Toss cooked wings in sauce, serve and enjoy.
