Pauline's Bulgar and Mushroom Pilaf
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 12 lb sliced mushrooms (you can add more, yummy)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sliced green onion
- 2 cups bulgur wheat
- 4 cups consomme (I use Consomme) or 4 cups beef broth (I use Consomme)
- Saute onions and mushrooms in butter until brown.
- Stir in Bulgar, salt and saute for one minute.
- Add liquid and bring to a boil, stirrin constantly.
- Cover and place in oven at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
