AMIEs PORK Sinigang
- 1 kg pork belly
- 200 grams leafy vegetables, (kangkong or spinach)
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 200 grams long string green beans cut into 2 inch lenght
- 1 cup or 2 medium sized tomato (quartered)
- 3 pieces long green pepper
- 2 liter water or rice water
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 packages sinigang mix
- In a saucepan, bring water, tomatoes and onions to a boil.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add green beans, green pepper and fish sauce to taste.
- Cover and simmer for 5 minutes again.
- Pour in sinigang mix.
- Increase the heat and bring toa boil.
- Add the pork.
- Simmer for 40 minutes in a low medium heat until the pork is tenderly cooked.
- Turn off the heat and add the leafy vegetables.
- Cover to cook.
- Serve hot!!
