Southern Chili For Four

  1. In saucepan, combine beef and water; simmer about 15 minutes or until meat loses its red color.
  2. Separate meat from liquid and chill both.
  3. Remove any congealed fat.
  4. Set aside 3/4 cup of beef broth.
  5. In saucepan, combine peppers, onion, jalapeno, celery and garlic.
  6. Cook 5 minutes.
  7. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, seasoning and reserved 3/4 cup of beef broth.
  8. Simmer 30 minutes.
  9. Serve.
