Simple Daikon Radish & Crab Stick Salad

  1. Cut the daikon radish with a slicer and julienne it.
  2. It should look like this I think that cutting the radish this way helps to improve the taste of the salad.
  3. Place the daikon radish into a bowl and sprinkle some salt over the top.
  4. Let the mixture sit for 20 minutes then thoroughly squeeze out any moisture.
  5. Tear apart the crab sticks.
  6. Mix the crab sticks together with the daikon radish and seasoning.
  7. Adjust the flavour to your taste with some black pepper.
  8. Check the taste again, and add some more mayonnaise or salt to adjust the flavour accordingly.
  9. Transfer the salad to a plate and it's ready to serve.
