Sirloin Soup Recipe
- 1/2 pound grnd sirloin (or possibly other very lean beef)
- 1/4 c. pearl barley
- 1 (14 1/2 or possibly 16 ounce.) can stewed tomatoes
- 2 garlic buds, pressed (or possibly 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr)
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 2/3 c. minced carrots
- 1/2 green pepper, minced fine
- Salt and pepper
- Brown meat, add in other ingredients, simmer for 30 min.
- Turn off heat and add in 4 ounce.
- cut-up Velveeta cheese.
- Stir to heat and serve.
- Reheats well next day.
