Spicy Mince Curry
- 1 kg lean beef mince
- 3 onion, chopped
- 8 potatoes; cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 8 clove garlic cloves
- 1 ginger - choppef
- 3 tbsp roasted masala
- 1 bunch cilantro / coriander
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 cardamom pods
- 2 stick cinnamon
- 1 can fresh garden peas
- Heat oil in a pot and add mince meat and chopped onions.
- Braise until meat and onions are caramelised.
- Add grated ginger and garlic and salt and stir; add a cup of hot water and let it simmer on medium heat until water is dissolved.
- Now add all spices and let it braise until golden brown for a minute or so.
- Add 2 cups of water and all the potatoes and let the potatoes cook until soft.
- Add peas and mix and add salt and pepper for taste.
- Before serving add cilantro and serve with rice
