Airy Hamburger Buns

  1. Mix the first 7 ingredients on speed 1 until moistened.
  2. Cover and let rise until it reaches the top of the bowl.
  3. Add 1 T salt.
  4. Add enough flour until the dough pulls away from the side of the bowl.
  5. I usually add about 2 more cups.
  6. Knead on speed 1 for 5 minutes.
  7. Form large balls - 6-9 per cookie sheet.
  8. Use parchment paper.
  9. Let rise 45 minutes.
  10. Bake for 25 minutes at 400 until golden brown.
  11. Brush with butter while still hot.
  12. Use for hamburgers, sloppy joes, anything you would use a bun for.
  13. Or eat it with butter!
