Split Pea Soup - Yellow or Green Split pea soup

  1. Cover smoked chops with water in a 4 qt pot and bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat and add all but potatoes.
  3. Cook until carrots are tender.
  4. Drop in potatoes and continue cooking, stirring occasionally until peas and potatoes are done.
  5. If too thick, add a little water at a time.
