Tasty Macaroni and (Unusual) Cheese
- 1 12 cups dried macaroni noodles
- 150 g Quark
- 50 g havarti cheese
- 25 g gouda cheese
- 1 onion
- 2 sticks celery
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- salt and pepper
- 1.
- On the stove top, bring a pan of salted water to the boil.
- At the same time, heat the oil in a separate pan over a medium heat.
- 2.
- When the water is boiling, add the pasta.
- At the same time add the chopped onion and celery to the pan containing the oil (carefully, it might spit!).
- Cook both, stirring occassionally, for 6-8 minutes (until the pasta is the desired texture).

- Meanwhile beat the eggs and combine them in a bowl with the grated cheeses, salt, and pepper.
- When the vegetables are cooked, add this mixture and stir quickly and thoroughly.
- 4.
- Drain the pasta and add to the sauce: then stir in the paprika.
- 5.
- Heat gently for a further minute, then serve immediately.
