Sweet Potato Snacks Healthy Oyaki
- 1 large Asian sweet potato
- 1 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1 Water
- 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tbsp Mirin
- 3 tbsp Water
- 1/2 tbsp Katakuriko slurry
- Boil or microwave the sweet potato to mash.
- Mix in the katakuriko and add a little water a bit at a time to your desired stiffness (I used 150 ml).
- Form into shapes with dampened hands, and cook both sides in a frying pan with oil.
- Boil the ingredients and use the katakuriko slurry to thicken.
- Once they've finished cooking, they're done!
